Overview
Instacart’s Enterprise organization builds the Retailer Platform that powers our partners’ businesses—from merchandising and promotions to fulfillment and insights. We’re looking for a Product Design Manager to lead and grow a high-impact team shaping the tools and experiences that help retailers operate and thrive on Instacart. In this role, you'll focus on ways to grow our existing retailers and enable new ones by delivering intuitive self-serve experiences that empower retailers to scale their business while enhancing how consumers engage with their favorite grocery brands. If you're passionate about working with a diverse set of business partners to design scalable, brand-centric solutions that fuel retailer success, this role is for you.
As a leader of our Retailer Platform, you’ll manage and grow a team of designers to produce high-quality and impactful work. Together, you’ll focus across two major domains: empowering retailers with scalable white-label merchandising and marketing tooling, and crafting intuitive, consumer-facing experiences that connect shoppers with their favorite grocery brands. You’ll set the vision for design standards, systems, and strategic thinking across this portfolio and collaborate cross-functionally to amplify Instacart’s impact in one of our most important growth areas.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where driving alignment, scaling design, and inspiring the team will be core to your success. You will have the opportunity to influence the future of grocery e-commerce and enable businesses of all sizes to thrive through thoughtful, scalable design. Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here. Currently, we are only hiring in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
