Agreement Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VirtualInterview.ai ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing or using VirtualInterview.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy
- You must be at least 16 years old to use our services, or have parental/guardian consent
- If you're using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization
- We may update these terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
Account Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information during registration and keep it updated
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us of any unauthorized access
- You're responsible for all activities under your account, including any third-party access you authorize
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
- Accounts are non-transferable without our written consent
AI Services & Data Processing
- Our AI-powered features (interview feedback, resume analysis, question generation, scoring) use third-party AI service providers
- Data you submit (interview responses, resume text, job descriptions) is sent to our AI providers for real-time processing — it is not retained by the provider after the response is generated
- We apply data minimization: only the minimum data necessary is sent to the AI provider, and personally identifiable information (PII) is redacted where technically feasible
- AI-generated outputs (feedback, scores, suggestions) are provided as automated guidance — not professional career advice — and you are responsible for how you apply them
- You retain ownership of the content you submit; we retain the right to use aggregated, anonymized patterns to improve service quality
- By using AI-powered features, you consent to your data being processed by our third-party AI provider under the terms described in our Privacy Policy
Acceptable Use
- Use the platform for legitimate interview preparation and career development purposes
- Respect intellectual property rights of VirtualInterview.ai and other users
- Do not share, resell, or distribute your account access to others
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform
- Do not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our services without permission
- Do not upload malicious content, spam, or content that violates applicable laws
Prohibited Activities
- Using the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Uploading illegal, offensive, or infringing content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the platform or its security features
- Using our AI tools to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction

Important Billing Information
- Subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing period
- Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location
- We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers
- Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Intellectual Property & Content
Our Content
All content on VirtualInterview.ai, including AI models, interview questions, resume templates, course materials, software code, designs, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload (resumes, interview recordings, etc.). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide our services. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.
AI-Generated Content
AI-generated feedback, resume suggestions, and interview analysis are provided as guidance only. You're responsible for reviewing and using AI outputs appropriately. We don't guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

Email Communications
Product Announcements
By creating an account, you agree to receive product announcement emails about new features, improvements, and release notes. This preference is enabled by default to keep you informed about platform updates that may benefit your interview preparation.
Opting Out
You can disable product announcements at any time from your email notification settings. Transactional emails (account security, password resets, purchase confirmations) cannot be disabled as they are essential to your account operation.
Other Communications
You may also receive optional digest emails (weekly/monthly summaries), interview reminders, and tips. Each category can be independently controlled from your notification preferences. We will never share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Changes to Terms & Contact
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
