The Databricks enablement team is seeking a Leader of Technical Excellence and Enablement (Field Engineering), who is passionate about empowering people and driving technical excellence. This leader will design and execute strategies that elevate the technical depth of our Field Engineering (FE) organization, enabling teams to build trusted advisor relationships with customers and establish thought leadership in Data & AI.
This role requires deep technical expertise in data and AI, a systems-thinking mindset, and a people-first approach to learning and enablement. You will build and grow a team of technical enablers, creating engaging, scalable programs that deliver measurable impact. Success in this role depends on balancing technical and product knowledge independence with strong cross-functional collaboration with curriculum, credentials, delivery, platform, and regional teams to drive efficiency and alignment.

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
