The Government Affairs (GA) team engages with elected officials and regulators at the federal, state, and local levels. Our mission is to foster relationships with public officials and advocate for policies that support Robinhood’s mission to democratize finance for all. This includes supporting the Robinhood Markets PAC, facilitating executive meetings with policymakers, and advising business leaders based on evolving legislative and regulatory activity.
As a Government Affairs Intern, you’ll contribute to monitoring and interpreting policy trends, helping prepare materials for stakeholder engagement, and supporting the team in its interactions with lawmakers and regulatory bodies.
This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
