Red Canary, a Zscaler company, monitors an enterprise’s environment to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats so they can focus on their mission. Our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution is a unique blend of human expertise and security, which protects organizations from modern adversaries as their teams work remotely, move to the cloud, and they adopt new cybersecurity and IT technologies.
Role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to join our Sales department. This is a remote role, reporting to the VP Sales. You will define territory sales goals alongside the leadership team and implement the processes, infrastructure, and hiring plans required to attain quotas. By leading and mentoring your team through active coaching, you will ensure accurate forecasting while collaborating across the organization to optimize customer acquisition and satisfaction.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
Define territory sales goals with the leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure, and hiring to attain goals and quotas
Hire, lead, and mentor your team through weekly 1:1 sessions and coaching to strategize and accurately forecast to leadership
Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, SDR, Channel, and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
Build strategies and develop materials vital to accelerate customer acquisition
Nurture lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
7+ years of closing experience in B2B technical sales, preferably within the information security industry
3+ years of experience managing, hiring, mentoring, and training a field sales team
Proven sales track record with a strong focus on new customer acquisition
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Robust CRM analysis, reporting, and forecasting skills, preferably with Salesforce
Strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
