While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
Data Science is an integral component of Coinbase’s product and decision making process: we work in partnership with Product, Engineering and Design to influence the roadmap and better understand our users. With a deep expertise in experimentation, analytics and advanced modeling, we produce insights which directly move the company’s bottom line.
We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) and Stablecoins team. CDP is the best place to build decentralized applications or integrate crypto to existing apps, and our stablecoins team is working to enable instant global payments. We are looking for a product Data Scientist who can help define metrics for developer tools, create user funnels and inform product decisions based on user behavior. You may also work on stablecoin economics or fund flows throughout the ecosystem, and help to design programs to increase liquidity for stablecoins worldwide. You'll use proprietary and public data to create analyses and dashboards with exposure to leaders working on the frontier of decentralized app development and defi.
