What Is The Role

Elastic, the Search AI company, is seeking a Renewals Associate to join our growing team. This is a crucial role within our customer success organization, focused on ensuring the continued partnership and satisfaction of our valued customers. You'll be instrumental in securing renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and contributing directly to Elastic's sustained growth as we empower companies through cutting-edge search technology and analytics.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively engaging to ensure timely and successful renewals of Elastic subscriptions.

Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and demonstrating the continued value of Elastic's solutions.

Identify opportunities for account expansion and collaborate with the sales team to facilitate upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

Serve as a primary point of contact for renewal-related inquiries, working closely with customers to address any concerns or challenges.

Accurately forecast renewal rates and provide regular updates on renewal pipeline status.

Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, customer success, and legal, to ensure a seamless renewal process and an exceptional customer experience.

Educate customers on new features, product updates, and how Elastic's AI-powered search solutions can further enhance their operations.

What You Bring

Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within renewals, account management, or sales support for a SaaS subscription business.

Strong understanding of renewal processes and best practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.

A meticulous approach to forecasting and data management, preferably with experience using SFDC.

Ability to independently manage a high volume of accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.

A passion for technology and a desire to understand how Elastic's solutions empower businesses.

Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and an appreciation for the community relying on our solutions.

Bonus Point

Prior experience in a renewals-specific role.

Familiarity with Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, or Cloud solutions.

Experience in selling within an Open Source model.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable).

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$74,700—$118,100 USD

The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is:

$32,000—$50,600 USD

The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is:

$106,700—$168,700 USD
