As Marqeta's Senior Manager, Software Engineering within our Risk, Fraud and Disputes pod, you will lead the design, development, and execution of issuer-side disputes across card networks and multiple payment rails. You will be responsible for building and operating systems that manage cardholder disputes, chargeback lifecycles, network rules, evidence workflows, and regulatory timelines.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep experience in disputes and chargebacks who is AI-first, takes full ownership of outcomes, and is comfortable engaging directly with enterprise customers and networks to resolve complex dispute scenarios.
We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States or from our Oakland office. We'd love for you to join us to shape the future of payments dispute resolution.

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD, is: 177,100 - 221,400
