The opportunityWe’re hiring for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our LiveOps team. We are building a first‑party webshops platform that lets game developers route players to browser‑based stores instead of in‑app purchases; unlocking up to ~20% additional margin versus traditional platform fees. You'll join a small, senior founding pod responsible for shipping the initial GA product and rapidly iterating it with real game studios.
You will own large pieces of both the player‑facing webshop experiences and the multi‑tenant backend services that power them. You'll work closely with a small team in a highly autonomous, AI‑native development environment where using AI tools is expected.
The webshop is the player-facing surface of Unity's broader Commerce Management Platform; a new initiative that gives developers a single dashboard to manage their entire digital catalog, pricing, promotions, and payment providers across mobile app stores, web, and PC. More than 70% of the top 1,000 mobile games are already built with Unity, and the IAP SDK already manages their in-game economies. The web shop is what closes the loop: a branded, direct-to-player storefront that's natively integrated with the catalog and entitlements developers already manage through Unity, with Stripe as the launch payment partner.
This is a hands‑on, product‑minded role for someone who loves building from 0 to 1, moving fast with a small team, and shaping not just the code, but the product and the engineering model itself.
