The Platform Design and Research team at Coinbase plays a critical role in executing on our vision to create more economic freedom for the world and sits at the center of building products across the company. We design the core platforms and internal tools that accelerate product development and operations across Coinbase, and we're building the most secure, trusted, and easy-to-use crypto experiences for millions of customers.
You'll join our Financial Platform team to shape the next generation of internal financial infrastructure—the tools and systems that help Coinbase move, account for, and manage money safely and efficiently across products.
This is a 0-to-1 opportunity to establish a design standard for internal tools, an area that has historically lacked dedicated design support. As a Staff Product Designer, you'll lead design for financial tools that teams use to launch, operate, and monitor products safely and efficiently—including systems for ledgers, treasury, accounting, reconciliation, and fund allocation. Your work will set the blueprint for how internal platforms across Coinbase are designed, influencing not just Financial Infrastructure but future tooling for DevTools, Compliance, and beyond.
