Zscaler’s Red Canary engineering team builds and operates the platform to deliver unmatched threat detection and response. Our customers depend on us 24/7 and the software you build makes a meaningful difference to improve their security. We're looking for an experienced Software Infrastructure Engineer to join our Product Infrastructure Engineering team. Reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
Working closely with our product engineering teams to set infrastructure standards to support our SaaS products
Understanding and contributing to our cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, backend systems, and building and maintaining multi-cloud container environments using Kubernetes
Encouraging a strong DevOps culture that prioritizes collaboration, automation and continuous improvement
Maintaining and creating internal tooling for engineers to enable a consistent experience across product teams and make onboarding as efficient as possible
Participating in an on call rotation within the Engineering department
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and IT automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt)
Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, GCP, or Azure) and cloud networking (e.g., VPC design, DNS, VPNs)
Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration (e.g., Helm, Docker), and CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Monitoring and alerting tools (ex. Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL experience
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
