Autonomy Systems Test Engineer

Autonomous vehicles run some of the most complex software ever deployed in a safety-critical environment—solving this is one of the defining technical challenges of our time.

As an Autonomy Systems Test Engineer at Zoox, you will accelerate product development by ensuring our autonomous driving software is safe, reliable, and scalable. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, build standardized simulation and test tooling, validate end-to-end behaviors, and develop triage pipelines for issues discovered in simulation and on-vehicle testing. These efforts surface failure modes, regressions, and implementation bugs introduced by new features.

You will regularly participate in in-vehicle testing, analyze results, root-cause issues, and continuously improve testing processes to support Zoox’s growing milestones. Your ability to distill complex systems into actionable insights will be critical to delivering a safe and stable vehicle platform.
