Compact resume template: one tight page, contact grid
Compact pulls every margin and gap in so a long history fits on one page, with contact details in a grid and experience, education and projects set in a compact style. The spec holds the body at 9 pt, because below that a resume stops being readable on paper.

Who the Compact template is best for
- Candidates with a lot to say who are held to a one-page limit
- Engineers and analysts listing projects, tools and several roles
- Mid-career professionals trimming rather than rewriting
Less ideal for: Short resumes, where the density makes a thin page look cramped instead of full.
ATS notes for the Compact layout
This is a single-column family, the layout that reads in the simplest order.
- Single column in every template of the family, with a ruled header and a contact grid instead of one inline row.
- The 9 pt body is the smallest in the builder. It is readable, but if you can cut content to move up to a 10 pt family, a reader will thank you.
The only way to know what a parser reads from your own file is to look: export it, then run it through the ATS resume checker.
