AI Interview Practice Free Online

Last updated

You can practise AI interviews free online at VirtualInterview.ai: a free account gives you 2 interviews a month in your browser, by voice or text, with every answer scored for relevance, depth, clarity. There is no card, no download and no trial that expires. Below is everything the free plan includes, and what more costs if you need it.

What does the free plan include, line by line?

The free plan limits how many interviews you run each month and how much of later reports you read. It does not limit which interviews you can practise or in which language. Every line below is read from the product configuration.

What does sign-up ask for?

Sign-up asks for an email address or a Google sign-in and nothing else: no card, no phone number and no payment step. An account is needed because your interviews, transcripts and reports are saved to it.

  • Asked for: an email and a password, or one click with Google.
  • Not asked for: a card, a billing address, a phone number or a plan choice.
  • After sign-up: you land on interview setup; there is no upgrade screen to get past.
  • Leaving: you can delete your interviews, or the whole account, from your settings at any time.

Free plan, credit pack or Pro: which costs less?

For 2 interviews a month or fewer, the free plan costs nothing. Past that, a credit pack is cheapest for a short burst before one interview, and Pro is cheapest once you run about 25 or more interviews in a month.

Cost per interview on each one-time credit pack, in USD
PackPriceInterviewsPer interviewUse within
Interview Sprint$95$1.807 days
Focused Prep$1512$1.2515 days
Starter Pack$2925$1.1660 days
Interview Prep Pack$5950$1.1890 days
Accelerator$99120$0.82180 days
Mastery$149150$0.99365 days

Pro is $20/month or $200/year with no interview cap. At the best pack rate, $0.82 an interview, 25 interviews cost about what one month of Pro does. Full plan details are on the pricing page.

Questions about free online AI interview practice

What people ask before practising online for free: whether it stays free, what it needs on their device, and what they can see once an interview ends.

Is free AI interview practice online really free?
Yes. The free plan costs nothing, asks for no card and has no trial clock: 2 interviews a month, renewed on the day of the month you signed up. Nothing converts to a paid plan on its own. Pro and the credit packs are optional purchases you make only if you want more.
Do I need to download anything to practise online?
No. Everything runs in a current desktop or phone browser: setup, the interview itself and the report. For spoken answers the browser asks once for microphone access. If you would rather not use a microphone, type your answers instead; typed answers are scored in exactly the same way.
Which interview types can I practise on the free plan?
All 12 round formats, from a recruiter screen to a final round, in any of 50+ languages. The free plan limits how many interviews you run and how much of later reports you see, not which kinds of interview you can practise. Adaptive difficulty and company research are the Pro extras at setup.
What do I see after a free interview?
On the free plan the report for your first completed interview is shown in full: every answer with its relevance, depth, clarity scores and the reasons. After that, free reports show a preview with the overall score, a summary, your first strength and improvement area, and your first answer; Pro shows the full report every time.
Is online AI practice as useful as a mock interview with a person?
They do different jobs. AI practice is available at any hour, scores every answer the same way and lets you repeat a question until the answer holds. A person who knows your field catches things a rubric cannot. Most candidates use AI practice for the repetitions, then one human mock before the real interview.
