Delete your account permanently from your profile settings. Export anything you want to keep first: deletion cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

1. Log in to Your Account. Sign in to your VirtualInterview.ai account using your credentials
2. Navigate to Profile Settings. Go to your profile page and select the 'Delete Account' tab
3. Review Data Deletion Information. Read the information about what data will be deleted and ensure you understand the consequences
4. Confirm Account Deletion. Type 'DELETE' to confirm and click the 'Delete My Account' button
5. Deletion Processing. Wait for the deletion process to complete (30-60 seconds). Do not close the page.
6. Confirmation & Sign Out. You'll receive a confirmation message and be automatically signed out

What data will be deleted?

Profile Information

Name, email, bio, profile picture, account credentials. Includes Personal details, Contact information, Account settings.

Interview Data

All interview recordings, transcripts, responses, and session history. Includes Video/audio recordings, Text responses, Interview sessions, Practice history.

AI Analysis & Feedback

All AI-generated feedback, performance analytics, and insights. Includes Feedback reports, Performance scores, Improvement suggestions, Analytics data.

Progress & History

Learning progress, achievements, bookmarks, and saved content. Includes Course progress, Achievements, Saved items.

Subscription & Billing

Subscription status, payment methods, and billing history. Includes Active subscriptions, Payment information, Invoice history, Billing details.

Usage & Analytics

Platform usage data, activity logs, and behavioral analytics. Includes Login history, Activity logs, Usage patterns, Device information.

Data retention and deletion timeline

Account access is revoked immediately. Interview recordings, transcripts and feedback are removed within 7 days. Backup removal can take up to 30 days. See our privacy policy for retention details.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, export, restrict or erase personal data. Contact us if you need help exercising a right; our privacy policy explains how we handle requests.

Before you delete

Download your recordings, transcripts and reports first. Deletion also cancels subscriptions and removes your progress. If you only want to stop billing, manage your subscription instead of deleting your account.
